Billiat bags best player award for 2019

Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has lifted the 2019 Best International Player award from the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ).

Billiat, 30, has struggled for form over the past 12 months but remains firmly considered as one of the best forward's in Africa due to his incredible ability.

While his goalscoring form has somewhat dwindled at Chiefs, the Zimbabwe talisman remains the only active player in the top 10 scorers in PSL history.

And his exploits in the South African top-flight has earned him recognition in his home country as FUZ presented him the award on Friday afternoon whilst on international break for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

"Today Kaizer Chiefs [forward] and Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat received his FUZ award for the Best Foreign Player 2019," the statement read with Billiat pictured with his title.
