Amakhosi have been boosted by the return to full fitness of defender Erick Mathoho and midfielder George Maluleka.
Mathoho was left out of his coach Giovanni Solinas's squad for the past three matches after picking up an injury in training, but club physio David Milner has since provided an update on his status.
“Erick is back in full training,” Milner told Chiefs' website. “He has fully recovered from a groin injury.”
Maluleka was a notable absentee from the side's 2-0 victory over AmaZulu last weekend, despite picking up the Man of the Match accolade in their prior clash against Free State Stars last week.
However, Milner has assured his omission was purely precautionary as fears of a recurrence of his ankle injury crept in amongst a faction of the club's supporters.
"George is fine and training with the team. It was a minor problem but we thought it would be wise to take precaution to avoid worsening the [thigh] injury,” he added.
Meanwhile, utility player Joseph Molangoane is still under close watch from the Glamour Boys medical team as he continues his recovery from a broken leg suffered last month.
"'Tight' is getting stronger and stronger by the day. He works out in the gym and is steadily going through the recovery journey,” concluded Milner.
The club have not issued an update on striker Leonardo Castro, who hurt his ankle in their 4-1 victory over Cape Town City a fortnight ago.
Chiefs visit the Makhulong Stadium to face the reigning First Division champions on Tuesday evening, with kick-off scheduled for 19h30.
