Chiefs midfielder's future in doubt


Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Andriamirado Andrianarimanana’s future at the club remains uncertain following his failed move to Black Leopards.

Andrianarimanana has been left out in the cold after Chiefs registered Daniel Akpeyi, James Kotei, Lazarous Kambole, Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic as their allotted five foreign nationals for the 2019/20 season.

The Madagascan international was expected to complete a loan move earlier this month to Black Leopards, who initially confirmed the move before later deleting their social media post, but the deal looks to have fallen through, allegedly because it was leaked.

The 28-year-old had earlier relinquished his jersey number to new signing Kearyn Baccus, suggesting that he would be sacrificed, but no further communication has been made by Amakhosi.
