Chiefs beat Polokwane City 2-0 in the MDC at Seshego Stadium on Sunday courtesy of goals either side of the break from Itumeleng Shopane and Asanda Dyani.
Amakhosi's fifth win of the campaign lifted them to eighth in the standings with 16 points from 12 matches - 12 points adrift of log leaders Golden Arrows with three games left.
“We have seen much improvement in our performances after a slow start to the season,” Zwane told his club's website.
“I am glad with the win, but the bigger picture remains preparing the players for our first team as well as the South African national teams.
“I am glad that we gave our supporters a win and we thank them for their undying support. We will take this win and rejoice in it.
“We are going back to [the] training pitch to continue with the development process. I would like to congratulate our lads for the win.”
