Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Lebogang Manyama is amongst 15 PSL stars who will be eligible to sign pre-contracts with other clubs in January.

Manyama, 30, has revived his career at the Soweto giants since an ill-fated spell in the Turkish Super Lig with Konyaspor and has become a regular member of the South Africa national team.

With seven goals and 12 assists in 53 games since his arrival in August 2018, the attacking midfielder has become an integral part of the Amakhosi setup.

But as things stand, his original three-year contract signed upon his return to Mzansi is due to expire at the end of current 2020/21 season, leaving him open to discussing a potential Bosman free transfer in two months' time.

While his situation could change – should Chiefs, currently handicapped by a FIFA transfer ban, decide to renew terms with the Bafana Bafana man – he could also follow the path of his former teammate George Maluleka.

'Mido' signed a deal with Mamelodi Sundowns before the end of the 2019/20 season after his deal ran down to the final six months and was allowed to depart early.

The other high-profile names whose contracts are also due to expire include Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Willard Katsande, Bernard Parker and Siphelele Ntshangase.

SuperSport United striker Evans Rusike is another in-demand star who will be able to dictate terms should Matsatsansa opt not to secure him before the new year, while Bandile Shandu and Keagan Buchanan will also be available.
