Kaizer Chiefs have joined Mamelodo Sundowns in the race to sign Swallows FC's top defender Njabulo Ngcobo.
The 26-year-old is also on the wanted-list of DStv Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns as he continues to enjoy a stellar season with the Dube Birds.
Swallows boss David Mogashoa said earlier this season that no amount of money will be able to prise the former Uthongathi FC defender away from the club.
However, exerted pressure from both Sundowns and Chiefs could force the Dube Birds to consider selling their most-prized asset.
Amakhosi have also made contact with the club with regards to the services of left-back Sifiso Hlanti for next season.
"There has been contact but nothing formal. Everything will be determined at the end of the season," an informant privy to the details of movements at Swallows tells KickOff.com.
"Sifiso Hlanti is joining Kaizer Chiefs next season. After all, there was an agreement that he will return back to Chiefs after he trained with them earlier this season."
Swallows recently signed former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Bantu Mzwakali to boost their attacking options this season after he returned from a spell in Sweden.
