Chiefs decide on Dax's destination

Kaizer Chiefs have resolved the situation of Madagascan midfielder Andriamirado 'Dax' Andrianarimanana.

'Dax' has finally completed his move away from Chiefs following his omission from their squad for the 2019/20 PSL season due to foreign limitations.

The midfielder is now set to join Absa Premiership side Black Leopards after an earlier hiccup had been ironed out between the two clubs.

"The club has reached its foreign players quota as per the rules and as a result decided to release the Malagasy midfielder," read a club statement.

"The release of Dax leaves Chiefs with five registered foreign players, namely: Daniel Akpeyi, James Kotei, Samir Nurkovic, Leonardo Castro and Lazarous Kambole."

The 28-year-old joined Amakhosi at the start of last season from Fosa Juniors in his homeland and managed just 14 domestic appearances for the Soweto giants.

Despite featurng at the recent 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with The Barea, 'Dax' will be hoping to progress his career at Lidoda Duvha, who have signed several big-name players already this season.
