Fans want Lebese back at Naturena

Kaizer Chiefs fans are pleading with club boss Kaizer Motaung to bring prodigal son George Lebese back to Naturena.

Lebese is currently clubless after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns last season.

The Mamelodi-born midfielder spent six months on loan at SuperSport United before returning to Chloorkop and being handed his clearance letter.

Now a group of Amakhosi supporters based in Atteridgeville have written a request to the Phefeni Glamour Boys management to consider bringing Lebese back to the club.

"This is our player and he is willing to come back to the team," they posted on social media.

"May you please give this player a second chance. We all make mistakes but that doesn't mean we are to be punished all the time.

"Ntate Kaizer Motaung and the team, do something as a big brand, and a big team in Africa."

The 30-year-old is at home in Pretoria training on his own.
