Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that five of their players have signed new contracts, including long-serving club captain Itumeleng Khune.
Chiefs have put speculation over the futures of Khune, Khama Billiat, Lebogang Manyama, Bernard Parker and Ramahlwe Mphahlele to bed by handing the quintet new contracts.
Khune has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal that will extend his stay in Naturena to at least 19 years, since being promoted to the club's first team back in 2004.
The 33-year-old played a key role in Amakhosi's run to their maiden CAF Champions League final, here they ended runners-up to 10-time champions and African Club of the Century Al Ahly.
Despite playing a bit-part role in the team last season, Billiat has also been awarded a new two-year deal, with Manyama signing one year plus the option of a further year, which will see them continue until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Parker and Mphahlele have each earned one-year contracts following their sizeable contributions in the last campaign.
