Khanye on Bucs call: 'I'm not a sangoma'

Premiership

Is former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye a football sangoma?

This is a question many soccer fans have been asking themselves after he got another prediction spot on for the Soweto Derby at the weekend.

Khanye made the prediction on Friday on his iDiskiTV show that Orlando Pirates would beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 and it proved correct on Saturday at Soccer City.

These were amongst many other Khanye predictions that have won many soccer fans' hearts.

"This is not the first time I made predictions correctly, I said TTM will be gone after buying the status of Bidvest Wits," Khanye tells KickOff.com.

"I am not a sangoma. I am a member of ZCC. I believe in God of Mount Zion and my ancestors. Those are the ones that give me guidance in everything I do."

The former Amakhosi dribbling wizard also predicted that Mamelodi Sundowns would win the league last season when all the odds were still in Chiefs' favour.

This was despite Chiefs leading by more than 10 points at the time before the bio-bubble was implemented. Sundowns went on to win the league on the last day of the final Absa Premiership season.

"Give me up until next week, I will tell you which team is going to win the league," he signs off.
