Former Polokwane City coach Jozef Vukusic could make a return to the Absa Premiership sooner than expected.

The 55-year-old left Polokwane City for health reasons at the end of last season after helping them to a fifth-place finish – the best ever in the history of the club.

KickOff.com has been informed that the fit-again Serbian has been contacted by three teams in the PSL and is currently on his way to South Africa.

"Vukuzic is on his way back to the country, he has been contacted by three teams, which are Maritzburg United, Chippa United and Stellenbosch FC," the source reveals.

His agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi could not confirm nor deny the reports. 

"I wouldn't want to talk about rumours, so I rather not comment," he said.

Chippa United are known to be in the market for a new coach after parting ways with Clinton Larsen on Monday.
