Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch's return at the Mighty Buccaneers has cleared some doubts about his future at the club.
Lorch was back in action on Sunday for the first time since February this year when Pirates hosted Raja Casablanca during the CAF Confederation Cup game played at Orlando Stadium.
The former Cape Town All Stars man came in for Fortune Makaringe in the last 15 minutes of the game but failed to inspire the Sea Robbers to victory after they were held to a 1-1 draw in Soweto.
Bucs coach Josef Zinnbauer has welcomed the return of Lorch.
"Lorch, we are happy that he is back. It was a long time out," Zinnbauer told the media.
"We have to see what is happening after the game, what happens with the pain, what is he feeling and prepare him for the next match.
"I can't say he is in the starting line-up or on the bench, but what is important for us firstly is that he is now available and it's good for us."
Meanwhile, Pirates have also welcomed back goalkeeper Richard Ofori after he suffered a groin injury a few weeks ago.
