Jomo bemoans mistakes

Robert Ng’ambi and Eleazar Rodgers had give Dikwena a 2-0 lead after just 30 minutes, but the sending off of Ndumiso Mabena just before the break changed the complexion of the game.

Ezenkosi managed to pull one goal back – their first of the season – through Cheslyn Jampies, but Stars hung on for the win which took them fourth.

“The first goal was ridiculous,” Sono said after the game. “I always tell them if there’s a dead-ball than someone must stand on the ball. They all turned their back and boom, it was played.

“For the second goal somebody was not picking up in the box and Rodgers had a clear header.

"But besides that they never gave us any problems. We had an advantage because we had an extra man and maybe that helped, but I’m proud of the way we came back in the second half.”
