'Pirates have to beat TTM' - Masutha

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila head coach Joel Masutha is not using what happened in Orlando Pirates' last match as any motivation today.

Vhadau Vha Damani will be hoping for their second win of the league season when they host the Sea Robbers at Thohoyandou Stadium (17h00).

"Obviously Pirates is a big team you know, they play attractive football. They are one of the most offensive teams in the league, and they've done very, very well since the beginning of the season," Masutha tells KickOff.com.

"We are going to play a team that is rich in confidence. But again, for me these are easy, easy games in terms of motivating the players. Everyone wants to play against these big teams.

"We are not nervous, we are not intimidated, and I believe we're going to give a very good account of ourselves. Pirates is a big team, they have to beat us."

Masutha says even though fellow DStv Premiership newcomers Swallows FC were able to hold their own against Pirates on Sunday and equalise in the dying minutes, the Dube Birds are way above them in terms of form.

"Yes, I've seen a few things you know [in the game on Sunday] but at the same time Swallows are doing very, very well. They've won many games you know and we've only won one so we can't compare ourselves to them," he says.

"But us also, we haven't been that bad. I think Swallows had nothing to lose in that match, so we're also going with that mentality. If we go there and play the way we've been playing, we will get a result."
