Pirates fingers crossed for Makusu

Premiership

Orlando Pirates are keeping their fingers crossed they will have their new Congolese striker Jean-Marc Makusu available to face SuperSport United on Saturday.

Mundela signed for Pirates last week on loan from AS Vita Club but the 28-year-old is now awaiting his work permit before he can make his debut in the black and white colours.

According to a club official, Makusu has submitted all the documents required to receive his work permit.

"We submitted his papers a long time ago, we are just waiting for his work permit and hopefully he will get it soon," the Pirates official tells KickOff.com.

Pirates, who take on Matsatsantsa at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, have won one DStv Premiership game and drawn twice so far this season.
