Head coach Ernst Middendorp made a mistake with Kenyan star Anthony Akumu, according to a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.
The 27-year-old, who joined Chiefs in January, has so far played five matches for the Glamour Boys.

"They've introduced him at the wrong time, you see," Humphrey 'Cellular' Mlwane tells KickOff.com.
"In the other games he played the team was there [playing well]. Why they broke that team is something I don't understand.
"But I think now is the right time to play him so we can see what he can do going forward. They shouldn't have introduced him the way they did because the team was playing.
"When he started playing they lost that other game, it disrupted the combination in the midfield. Let's hope this break will help them in making sure this boy gets the rhythm."
Mlwane still believes Akumu will have a great career with Amakhosi and eventually replace Zimbabwean stalwart Willard Katsande.
"Ja, for the space of Katsande, I think he will be a good buy going forward," he adds.
"But what I'm saying is, he [Middendorp] should have stuck to those who were winning games for him. He mustn't fix what is not broken, you see."
