Horoya keeper completes PSL move

KickOff.com has been informed that GladAfrica Championship club Venda Football Academy have brought in a Guinea goalkeeper formerly on the books of regular CAF Champions League campaigners Horoya AC.

Word reaching this club is that Abdoulaye Kante has signed for the club on a one-year deal with an option of an additional season.

Kante has looked impressive since arriving and comes in highly rated having gained valuable experience on the continent.

The 28-year-old’s deal is now subject to the issuing of his work permit which has already been applied for in Tshwane.

After the issuing of his work permit, he will then be registered and become available for selection with immediate effect.

Though Kante wasn’t the first choice for Horoya he played against Orlando Pirates in the Champions League two years ago.

VFA have so far used Ntokozo Mtshweni in the first two league games but will for the club against.

The Limpopo club has also brought in Kwadwo Frimpong and Razak Toufic from Ghana.
