Highlands Park director Brad Kaftel has officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Enocent Mkhabela.

This website revealed last week that Mkhabela was set to follow striker Tendai Ndoro out the exit door at Park.

Also leaving the Lions of the North is midfielder Molibedi Mokoena, who spent this season on loan to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the GladAfrica Championship.

Kaftel says Highlands are looking forward to next season, dispelling rumours that the club could also be for sale during the off-season.

"Last week we released three players [Tendai] Ndoro, Enocent Mkhabela and [Molibedi] Mokoena and if we are looking at selling the club we wouldn't be bothered doing stuff like that," Kaftel tells KickOff.com.

"So for us it's business as usual for now and we are certainly looking forward to next season."

The Lions of the North are yet to decide on the future of goalkeeper Greg Etafia, who was recalled from retirement this season.

Musa Nyatama and Reneilwe Letsholonyane are two other big stars whose futures at the club must also still be decided.
