Highlands Park have made enquiries about the availability of midfielder Hendrick Ekstein.
The 27-year-old midfielder is a free agent after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs recently and has been linked with a number of teams including SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates.
'Pule' is yet to announce his next destination even though he has already revealed his soccer boots for next season on social media .
According to a source close to Park, the club is set to make a follow-up with the player to see if he will be available to sign with them for next season.
"Highlands Park have made enquiries. At the moment no concrete offer has been made," the source tells KickOff.com.
"The club is still finalising the players to be released to accommodate the budget to buy new players."
Lions of the North coach Owen Da Gama has already revealed that his team will release eight players to make room for new signings.
