The 23-year-old sealed a lucrative move to the Brazilians at the beginning of the 2020/21 season after emerging as one of the country's most talented young players.

But has since only made three appearances for the defending DStv Premiership champions.

The South Africa youth international says a high level of competition for places prevented him from seeing regular playing time.

"As you know the club has a lot of quality players, all of who were playing well," Margeman tells Kickoff.com.

"Especially in my position, there were many quality players with lots of competition for places. Most of the players are also Bafana internationals.

"So it was difficult, you know, for me to get game time. But at the moment, I just want to focus on playing nothing else."

Margemann also gave insight into how he was settling in at Soweto club Swallows FC.

"Everything is good, and the move to Swallows has been okay. At this moment, I'm just focused, you know, on playing and getting game time."
