Orlando Pirates target Goodman Mosele says his former Baroka FC teammate Collins Makgaka will not become a flop at the Soweto giants.
Since leaving Baroka for Pirates in the off-season, Makgaka has found it tough to break into Josef Zinnbauer's match day squads this campaign.
Despite only making five appearances all season, Mosele is convinced Makgaka has what it takes to succeed with the Buccaneers.
"I can say his time is coming because he's good." Mosele tells KickOff.com.
"I think he is not yet used to Joburg. He must just relax because one thing for sure his chance will come, I know him. Hha umnandi la mjita (That guy is good). In our chats I always tell him to relax and wait for his turn.
"I believe his time will come. With the kind of football that he is playing? He will definitely not be a flop at Pirates. You will be the first one to give me a call once he starts getting enough game time (laughs). Only if he can get back his confidence, get game time...he will do great things at Pirates."
Mosele, who is believed to be on the Pirates shopping list for next season, says he will only leave Baroka with club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele's blessings.
"No, I haven't spoken to anyone at Pirates. I only saw it when people sent me the links of the reports. This is home man I will never leave (laughs). He is the one who will give me blessings to leave. Personally, I don't have a problem staying at Baroka next season."
