'5-0 loss doesn't define Arrows'

Golden Arrows have been focusing on their technical and mental strength building up to their clash against Chippa United today.

Arrows hosts the Chilli Boys at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium coming from a humiliating 5-0 defeat away to Bloemfontein Celticsaway in their last Absa Premiership match.

The assistant coach of the club Mandla Ncikazi has given an updates on what they have been working on in the last two weeks.

"The last two weeks we've been working on our technical and mentality from our players, especially coming from that loss which we believe doesn't define who we really are as Arrows," Ncikazi said.

Abafana Bes'thende are hosting an unbeaten Chippa United side coming from a 1-1 draw with defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

"Chippa have good players and they are well coached, we know their strength especially when it comes to crossing and running. We are well prepared and will have all the responses on threats they might cause," he insisted.

"We have loyal supporters and we urge them to come and give us support as we want to make sure they are always happy. We can't over-promise them anything besides good football."

Arrows will be without Nkanyiso Mngwengwe, who is still nursing a long-term injury.
