Golden Arrows have expressed their desire to keep Gladwin Shitolo beyond the end of his loan deal from Orlando Pirates.
Shitolo has been one of the most consistent players at Arrows this season and his loan contract is coming to an end on Tuesday.
Arrows assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi confirms Abafana Bes-thende want the player to remain in KwaZulu-Natal.
"I've worked with Shitolo before, this is his second spell with us, he is a great human being," Ncikazi tells KickOff.com.
"He's more than a player for us, he influences the team positively and is a very professional player. I would like to see him staying permanently in the team."
Ncikazi did not want to give away too much on what will happen to the midfielder, but hinted that no players will be released before the end of the season.
"I wouldn't know about movements, only management can respond to that, but I haven't heard of any player leaving us."
