Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp will be forced into at least one change when they next take on Black Leopards in an Absa Premiership encounter.
Chiefs' tight fixture schedule is beginning to take its toll on the squad, with midfielder George Maluleka set to serve a one-match suspension against Leopards this weekend.
The Glamour Boys are set to play their fourth fixture in 14 days when they travel to Venda, where they are set to face Lidoda Duvha in the scorching heat on Saturday afternoon (15h30).
Maluleka was handed his fourth yellow card of the season when Amakhosi handed Cape Town City a 3-0 defeat at FNB Stadium on Sunday, to open up a nine-point lead at the top of the log standings.
The 31-year-old, who has contributed two assists in two matches since his and the club's birthday last Tuesday, has featured in all but two of Chiefs' 20 fixtures across all competitions so far this season.
Last week Wednesday, Middendorp was also forced to replace in-form striker Samir Nurkovic after he served a suspension in their 3-0 win over Highlands Park.
The log leaders will also have to continue without the services of star forward Khama Billiat, while the club are yet to provide an update on the fitness of right-back Reeve Frosler.
