Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has sent a clear message to former Amakhosi star George Lebese on the possibility of him returning to Naturena.
Lebese is currently a free agent after reaching a mutual agreement with Mamelodi Sundowns to terminate his contract due to his failure to cement a regular place in Pitso Mosimane's plans.
The 30-year-old has now been without a club since PSL transfer deadline day and reports have suggested that a possible return to The Glamour Boys is on the cards.
It has been said that Chiefs skipper, and close friend to Lebese, Itumeleng Khune has approached the club's hierarchy in an attempt to vouch for the Mamelodi-born midfielder's re-signing.
However, Motaung has since scoffed at the reports, insisting that there is no room for the former crowd favourite within their plans going forward.
"Khune's talked to me about everything, but he's never talked to me about George Lebese. He's not an agent of George Lebese," responded Motaung.
"And I think we are content with the squad we have at the moment, we don't have room and space for George, unfortunately. There's never been a recommendation for George.
"George was with us, he left... I mean, we've got a full squad that we're content with. We've recruited players now and we want them to get into the mode and play football.
"George has got his journey; he had his journey with Sundowns and everybody else. I think he had a fair share at Chiefs, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
