Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has confirmed that no free agents will be joining his squad between now and the end of the 2020/21 season.
Following the end of the mid-season window on Monday, Chiefs have technically completed their two-window transfer ban handed down upon them by FIFA.
Amakhosi saw no new players coming in at the start of the season in October/November last year, nor were they able to register anyone from outside of the club's structures between January 18 and February 15 this year.

While some have speculated that the Soweto giants may now start signing out-of-contract players by virtue of FIFA's regulations relating to free agents, Hunt has confirmed that, by his own knowledge, no new players can be brought in until next season.
"Under my knowledge, no we can't [sign free agents now]. We can't do anything, obviously until the end of the season – under my knowledge," confirmed Hunt to the media.
This is consistent with an earlier announcement by the club following their unsuccessful appeal to have the ban overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) back in November last year.
