Club president Patrice Motsepe, Mosimane and Jose Roman Alexanko gathered around the boardroom table to announce some new developments within the technical structure.
Speculation around the coach's future had been ongoing for several weeks as his contract drew to a close in June, but this was finally put to bed as a deal was struck that will keep 'Jingles' in the job until 2024.
Furthermore, a promotion was handed to former Barcelona academy director Alexanko, who had been serving as the club's head of youth since September last year.
The Spaniard will now head up the technical team, overseeing matters relating both to the first team and the development structures.
Motsepe further gave updates on the The Brazilians' 50th anniversary, which was scheduled to take place at the end of the 2019/20 season.
However, given the current situation that has affected football the world over, this has been placed on the backburner and instead a different direction has been taken with regards to how supporters can celebrate the milestone.
