The 31-year-old Vilakazi has signed a pre-contract with AmaZulu and is set move to Durban at the end of the season.
Eymael is confident Vilakazi will give his all for Ea Lla Koto until the end of the season. The former Ajax Cape Town and Maritzburg United midfielder was given the captain’s armband in the Nedbank Cup victory over National First Division side Ubuntu Cape Town, showing his commitment in the middle of the park.
"I don't appreciate it when a player is not being played because he is moving to another team,” Eymael says.
"It doesn't happen in Europe, it only happens in South Africa and I don't know why.
"I will continue to play the player as long as he has the right attitude and working hard at training. Nhlanhla has showed great mentality and the right attitude and that's why he is playing. It's all part of football. Players do move in football and go play somewhere else. That is unfortunate,” he adds.
Ea Lla Koto will be back in Absa Premiership action tomorrow, when they host Kaizer Chiefs at Goble Park (19h30). They will also play the Soweto giants in the Nedbank Cup semi finals.
