Clubless Qalinge breaks his silence

Ex-Orlando Pirates star Thabo Qalinge has opened up on his current situation as he remains without a club since leaving SuperSport United.

The left-winger is currently without a club and continues keeping fit on his own in the gym.

'Section 10' last played for a team in the 2019/20 season when he made only two appearances for Matsatsantsa.

The 29-year-old says all along he has been trying to get his knee to heal properly.

"At this stage I haven't even spoken to my representative, so I haven't heard anything yet," Qalinge tells KickOff.com when asked about the latest on finding a new employer.

"At the moment I'm training by myself grootman. I've been hitting the gym. As for this season, we will have to see if there's something that comes up that is right for me.

"The thing is grootman, I also wanted to cool down my head a little you see. You know my problem with injuries. So I had decided to relax and become grand you see, until I'm sharp ya.

"But at the moment there is nothing troubling me my brother, it was only my knee that was disturbing me but now it has completely healed. I'm here and I'm available."

A fit Qalinge, who tore through defences for the likes of Mpumalanga Black Aces and Orlando Pirates just a few years ago, would add a much-needed boost to any team that needs attacking options.
