South African coach Riodoh Berdien has joined Tanzanian club Young Africans as an assistant coach to Luc Eymael.
Berdien, who has worked in Trinidad and Tobago, Bangladesh and also with Chippa United, Free State Stars and Banyana Banyana, has joined the club as the Belgian's second assistant.
Eymael resigned from Black Leopards in December before taking his new post in Tanzania last week.
The former Lidoda Duvha and Ea Lla Koto coach has confirmed that he will be joined by the strength and conditioning specialist in his new job with Yanga.
"He is coming in not only as fitness trainer but also as second assistant coach," Eymael tells KickOff.com.
"He is a hard-working coach and that's what I like about him. He will reunite with me. If I have to reunite with other people I will do so."
Berdien joins another South African in Tanzania, Senzo Mbatha (formerly Masingiza), who is now CEO at Simba Sports Club.
