Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Fares Hachi could be on his way back to the PSL with Maritzburg United next season.

Hachi, who last played in South Africa for Chippa United on loan from Sundowns, is rumoured to be on his way to join Eric Tinkler's side.

The 30-year-old former MC Alger defender is expected to arrive in KwaZulu-Natal this weekend to begin contract negotiations with Maritzburg.
