Johnson to speak 'when time is right'

Al Ahly assistant coach Cavin Johnson insists he will break his silence on question marks regarding his future only when the time is right.

The experienced Johnson, who currently serves as assistant coach to compatriot Pitso Mosimane at the Red Devils has been linked to a return to South Africa.

The 62-year-old has previously been at the helm at top-flight clubs Platinum Stars, Supersport United, Black Leopards and AmaZulu FC.

Numerous reports have been linking Johnson to the vacant Orlando Pirates job and most recently to also the Zimbabwe national team position.

"Oh, I'm on holiday at the moment," Johnson tells Kickoff.com.

"So I haven't spoken about anything yet and I haven't spoken to anyone yet also."

Pressed further on if his current status at Al Ahly Johnson remained non-commital.

"Not not yet, I'm still waiting, and we're still talking with Ahly. I'm not talking to any other clubs.

"I'm choosing to not talk right now and will only comment on the situation when it's the right time."
