Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Ernst Middendorp has landed a new job with Ethiopian Premier League giants Saint George Sports Club.
Middendorp and Chiefs parted ways at the end of last season after a memorable campaign ended in heartbreak on the final day of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season as Mamelodi Sundowns pipped them to the title.
After a ninth-place finish, second spot was seen as progression for Amakhosi but the manner in which they capitulated, added to the availability of four-time league winner Gavin Hunt, prompted the Soweto giants to opt for a managerial change.
