Tinkler warns Pirates, Downs about Ofori


Maritzburg United have warned both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns that they will have to fork out a lot of money if they want to sign Richard Ofori.

The Ghanaian goalkeeper has been linked with a possible move to either Pirates or Sundowns at the end of the season.

However, Tinkler has since warned both Gauteng clubs that Ofori won't come cheap.

"Richard is quality. There will always be interest. He is a good professional, he is a modern professional. He works extremely hard," he said.

"He has certain areas that I still believe he needs to improve on but he still remains our number one keeper and he is the captain.

"He remains in the club. If someone wants him, it's going to be a lot of money that I can tell you because of the qualities he has."
