Mamelodi Sundowns legend Eric Ramasike has warned his former team not to underestimate Kaizer Chiefs this season.
'Tambai', as the former winger was known during his playing days, feels the Naturena-based side will be a threat to Sundowns in the battle for the Absa Premiership title this season.
Amakhosi are enjoying a great start this season as they sit top of the table with 19 points in eight games played so far, five points ahead of Pitso Mosimane's charges who have played two games less.
The two giants still have to face each other on Sunday, 27 October at Loftus Stadium.
"Look, yesterday's game also [against Black Leopards] we started off well and scored two goals but in the second half the pace was too down," Ramasike tells KickOff.com.
"We were lucky not to draw that game because Leopards were coming at us. They played very well. We were either lucky or our experience worked for us yesterday. Yes we've got a 78 percent chance of winning the league, we do have big chances of winning it. Our advantage is having a big squad, you see.
"But Chiefs is coming... bayeza [they are coming], they are getting their momentum right now. We can underestimate them but I'm telling you the way they are playing this season, they are no more like last season. They can be a big threat, I don't want to lie. We must stop underestimating them saying 'hey they win 1-0 there and 2-1 here'... they can be a threat."
