The Economic Freedom Frighters are threatening to take matters into their own hands should Chippa United boss Siviwe Mpengesi not rescind the appointment of Luc Eymael.
The announcement by Chippa earlier this week that Eymael would assume the technical advisor role at the club following the umpteenth axing of coach Dan 'Dance' Malesela has been met with widespread criticism.
SAFA have also backtracked on their stance on the Belgian tactician after earlier clearing him of the racism allegations made against him in Tanzania.
Now, the EFF's Eastern Cape branch has joined the mass outcry against the former Free State Stars mentor's appointment by the Gqeberha-based outfi and called on Mpengesi to reverse the decision.
"The EFF Eastern Cape rejects and condemns the appointment of the racist and arrogant Luc Eymael as its new coach after the sacking of Dan 'Dans' Malesela [sic] over the weekend," read a press statement from the political party.
"We want to reiterate our stance that we will ensure Luc Eymael won't work in our province, he is not welcome and we don't have room for racist in this country.
"If Siviwe Mpengesi knows what's best for his team Chippa United, he will withdraw the appointment of this unrepentent racist from Belgium – a country of King Leopold, who killed black people in Africa."
