Chiefs bag another individual award

Kaizer Chiefs are enjoying one of their best campaigns in recent years, with the club raking in all sorts of Absa Premiership accolades this season.

Chiefs have already won the Absa Premiership Q-Innovation 1 this season, while coach Ernst Middendorp bagged three consecutive Coach of the Month awards for August, September/October and November.

As for players, goalkeeper Daniel Akepyi joined Middendorp on the podium to bag the Player of the Month award for September/October, and midfielder Dumisani Zuma has just picked up a gong of his own.

The Premier Soccer League on Tuesday confirmed that Zuma has officially been awarded the gong for the Goal of the Month for November, for his strike in Amakhosi's 2-0 victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The Glamour Boys are also on course to win Q-2, having amassed 16 points from their block of eight games, while Bidvest Wits currently have two more games in hand.
