Premiership

Swallows FC ended their DStv Premiership campaign with a 1-1 draw against Baroka FC on Saturday afternoon.

The tried and tested in goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke, Goodman Mosele and Evidence Makgopa continued for Baroka, while Swallows handed Keegan Ritchie and Junaid Sait rare starts.

It was the host that showed the early intend from a corner-kick, but veteran Vuyo Mere was unable to make the delivery count in his side’s favour.

Ritchie looked to put his return to the playing personnel on a perfect platform on 16 minutes with a free-kick outside the area, but he went over the top.

Baroka showed decisiveness within 33 minutes when Namibian international defender Ananias Gebhardt managed to bag in the opening strike of the encounter.
