Bloemfontein Celtic extended their winless run to five matches in the DStv Premiership after coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Stellenbosch FC on Saturday afternoon.
Celtic were boosted by the return of Lucky Baloyi and Tshepo Rikhotso while Stellies as welcomed back Zitha Macheke, Leletu Skelem and Phathutshedzo Nange.
The visitors had the first clear chance to go ahead in the 19th minute after Stanley Dimgba went through on goal but he struck his shot wide.
Stellenbosch had a penalty appeal in the 32nd minute after Jayden Adams went down inside the box but the referee was not persuaded.
Stellies eventually broke the deadlock on the brink of half-time after Skelem latched onto a loose ball inside the box and fired a strike past goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane, 0-1.
Siwelele were fired up coming from the break and Menzi Masuku levelled matters just before the hour-mark with a deflected shot past the helpless shot-stopper Lee Langeveldt from a counter-attack.
Skelem had a wonderful chance to restore the lead for Stellies with 20 minutes left after he was setup by Nathan Sinkala to have clear sight of goal but he fluffed his shot wide.
Sinkala also had a great chance to snatch the winner for the visitors in the last eight minutes after he was teed up by Junior Mendieta inside the box but struck his shot wide.
The game was on the edge in the dying minutes and neither side could get the winner and they settled for the share of spoils, with Celtic extending their winless run to five matches while Stellies stretched their unbeaten run to four matches.
