Make or break for Chiefs vs Leopards

Premiership

Former defender Dominic Isaacs wants Kaizer Chiefs to beat Black Leopards to give themselves a better chance of making the top eight.

Amakhosi will have a mountain to climb against the dying horse that is Lidoda Duvha as a loss this afternoon might see them being relegated to the GladAfrica Championship if Chippa United get all three points in their next match.

It is going to be very difficult for either of the two teams to reach their objectives if they lose today.

"Look, after Chiefs qualified for the semi-finals [of the CAF Champions League] I think they will have momentum," Isaacs tells KickOff.com.

"As I always say, when you create chances you need to score. If you don't score, you won't win. If we don't concede, we won't lose.

"But I think Chiefs need to collect the points now. It's up to them to build on what they've achieved now in the Champions League. Chiefs have got 30 points, Baroka have got 33 points.

"So it's also three points for them to end up in the top eight. Unfortunately there at Chiefs you don't choose what you want to do. You need to go and win every game, you need to go and win everything you know.

"There at Chiefs there's no 'hard luck or hardy'. You have to leave everything there on the field of play.

"I want them to win against Leopards so they end up in the top eight. This one is going to set them up really to do well because they still have three games left and there's a lot to play for."
