Wounded United aim at Arrows

Maritzburg United midfielder Daylon Claasen is expecting a tough KwaZulu-Natal derby against Golden Arrows on Saturday evening.

The Team of Choice have lost two consecutive games at the hands of TS Galaxy and Orlando Pirates which has seen the side slip to 14th position in the DStv Premiership standings.

Classen says Maritzburg don't have a choice but to work hard to get those wins to improve their current standings.

"In a game of football, one can't do nothing but keep working hard, give your best in training and hopeful things will change," - Claasen tells club's media team.

"We do play to win but unfortunately in our two results we didn't win, wasn't in our favour but we hope against Golden Arrows goes in our Favour."

With Abafana Besithende entering the clash on the back of a loss to Cape Town City, Claasen is expecting a very competitive game at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

"I expect to be difficult especially as it a derby, never easy and i expect very competitive game, one can only prepared to be ready to fight, the coach got his tactics ready and for us is to be able to adapt on the situation we come up against on the day because we can only do much."
