Cardoso: Downs must stay chasing us

Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso is hoping to increase their seven-point lead over Mamelodi Sundowns when they face Golden Arrows this weekend.

Amakhosi will not feel like they are playing away as they have been using Moses Mabhida Stadium for several of their home fixtures.

Cardoso has warned that Chiefs will be looking to make sure they extend their lead at the top of the log to keep Sundowns chasing until the final day of the season.

"Yeah, Moses Machida Stadium is our home, most of our home games are here, the crowd is excellent," Cardoso said.

"I hope we go to that game and increase our lead as Sundowns are playing in CAF. Keep them chasing us."

Amakhosi have not lost in Durban this season and have produced some of their best performances in the city, beating the likes of Black Leopards, Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic.
