Malesela linked with PSL coaching job

Former Chippa United coach Dan Malesela has emerged as one of the favourites to take over the coaching reigns at Marumo Gallants.

The Limpopo based side are currently without a head coach after Sebastien Migne was shown the door at the club this week after the French coach was found guilty of allegedly using abusive language towards technical director, Harris Choeu.

Gallants have since handed over the coaching reigns to Mpho Maleka and David Mathebula whilst still searching for the new coach, and Malesela could be the man to fill that role.

"Dan Malesela is one the coaches that the club is talking to," a source close to Marumo Gallants told "If they agree on financial terms he could take over next week."

Meanwhile, the Limpopo-based side are set to host Congolese outfit Vita FC in the CAF Confederation Cup game in Polokwane tomorrow, with the return leg scheduled to take place next week Friday.
