Hunt can start job search, TTM confirms

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila will be under a new technical team next season after deciding against retaining head coach Gavin Hunt.

TTM have publicly procaimed that a deal to buy Bidvest Wits' status has been sealed and the club will seek to keep their name and relocate to Limpopo next season, pending PSL approval.

Hunt has been working with Paul Johnson and Dillon Sheppard as first and second assistant coaches at Wits, and the trio is now expected to look for jobs elsewhere.

Sello Chokoe, TTM's chief executive officer, has confirmed the incoming management will find a new coach for next season.

"Hunt is definitely leaving," Chokoe tells KickOff.com. "We will begin with the process of finding a new coach next season."

TTM owner Lawrence Mulaudzi plans to use Thohoyandou Stadium as their home venue in the top-flight for the 2020/21 season.

As first confirmed by this website, Wits have already agreed terms with Orlando Pirates for the services of defender Thulani Hlatshwayo and midfielder Deon Hotto for next season.
