South African coaching legend Clive Barker has revealed which PSL team he thinks deserves to walk away as the 2020/21 team of the season.
The current campaign has seen underdogs like AmaZulu, Golden Arrows and Swallows FC challenging for the top positions and for a place in the CAF Champions League next year.
'The Dog' believes log leaders and favourites Mamelodi Sundowns still deserve to be crowned the best of the best.
"Sundowns," Barker tells KickOff.com.
"I think Swallows have showed they are bold, but there's two local coaches [Benni McCarthy and Mandla Ncikazi], they deserve their success because they've worked so hard.
"But I think Sundowns have too much depth and a little bit too much class."
Despite missing out on the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup, Sundowns have been doing well in the domestic league as they still lead the standings by four points with a game in hand.
