Daniels: Pirates are a different side

The two sides are fighting different battles at the moment and will go all out to come out victorious at the same venue on Wednesday night (19h30).

Matsatsantsa find themselves in a battle to stay alive in what has been a difficult league campaign, while the Buccaneers are in a race for the Absa Premiership title with Mamelodi Sundowns, who have a four-point lead at the summit.

SuperSport, who are in 14th place, know how important is it to win because Ajax Cape Town, the side just below them, would usurp them if they beat Bidvest Wits at Athlone Stadium (19h30) with a superior goal difference.

"It's a big one. They are fighting for the league, and we have our own battle at the bottom," Daniels tells KickOff.com.

"So it's going to be a good game and we are fighting for three points. It’s the game of our lives.

"Orlando Pirates is playing good football. They are an exciting team to watch and it's going to be very difficult to come away with all three points, but we just have to go and rise up.

"It's a must-win for us, every game from now on is a must-win. Pirates is second on the log, but it's not going to be like in the past you know.

"We are going there again [Mbombela Stadium], but this time it's going to be a different Pirates than the one we played back then. I hope we come away with the three points. That will give us another boost going into the next game [against Cape Town City]. We must just take it a game at a time."
