Bafana Bafana and former SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels will decide by the end of this week if he is signing for Maritzburg United.
Daniels is currently assessing the environment at the Team of Choice as he continues to consider the offer that has been presented to him by the KwaZulu-Natal club.
The 36-year-old is a free agent following his recent release by Matsatsantsa and has confirmed to this website that at the moment he has more than one offer on the table.
"No, I'm just training, I'm here checking the environment, so we'll see," Daniels tells KickOff.com.
"There is something on the table, so we will see. There are other teams also that are interested. I'll be training with Maritzburg for only this week.
"So I just want to see for now the environment, how is the setup, if it's a place for me where I can... you know, help the team and... if the environment is good for me then I will make a decision."
Daniels says so far he is impressed with the way things are done at the club, which is languishing rock-bottom of the DStv Premiership after eight matches.
"Ja so far everything is good. You know I've worked with the coach before [Ernst Middendorp at Bloemfontein Celtic], so ja you know he is also excited and encourages me to be here you know and help the team," he adds.
"But the environment is good, I see everything is going well. So I will make a decision soon."
