Nomandela lands new PSL club

Chippa United have completed the signing of former South Africa international winger Luyolo Nomandela from BCM Stars.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns winger had been on the books of the ABC Motsepe club but has now returned to the top-flight with the Chilli Boys on a two-year deal.

It marks the first move in the market since the sacking of Dan Malesela as head coach was confirmed with Siyabulela Gwambi succeeding him as interim coach and Luc Eymael returning to South Africa as a technical advisor.

"We are pleased to have beefed up our squad with another player of talent and experience. Luyolo will also play an integral role in our squad for the remainder of the 2020/21 South African football campaign," Gwambi said after his unveiling.

Nomandela will be available immediately for selection and could make his debut against Sundowns at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London on Monday.
