Chippa in hunt for unlikely Pirates win

Chippa United head coach Gavin Hunt is aiming for an unlikely win over bogey side Orlando Pirates in a home DStv Premiership clash on Saturday.

The Chilli Boys welcome the Buccaneers to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium with Hunt's side looking to keep pace with the early frontrunners.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's encounter, Hunt said his side are looking forward to testing themselves against Pirates.

"It is never too early to play anybody in our league you know," Hunt tells

"So we're looking forward to the game and we will see tomorrow. The history books don't mean much on how big the chances are of seeing Chippa United causing an upset.

"It is not very good as we haven't beaten them in the last ten or last twelve occasions we've played them, so we will have to wait and see."

Hunt added that his team will not be heading into the encounter with anything to prove aside from aiming to win the match.

"No, we're not trying to break any records, we just want to try and collect as many points as we can, really," Hunt added.

"There's a huge, huge, huge gap, as they are individually far better than us, far better.

"Anything you are able to get in such fixtures is a great result."
