Chippa United line up new arrivals

Premiership

KickOff has established that Zimbabwean left-back Ronald Pfumbidzai has surfaced at another PSL club straight after his departure from Royal AM as the January transfer bell continues to ring.

Pfumbidzai has not played since Royal AM took over of the Bloemfontein Celtic franchise at the beginning of the season and is amongst several players that have left the club.

Also, on the way out is Lucky Baloyi who is headed to Maritzburg United after an injury left him with a single appearance this term.

Lesotho striker Sera Motebang has also taken the same route as Pfumbidzai in heading out to Chippa after battling for game time with just three appearances to his name this season.

Royal AM – who have been floating in the top half of the standings – will also continue without several players who have had Siphelele Luthuli and Mokone Mereko.

Luthuli also has a deal with Chippa lined up.

Royal AM have been on a mission to trim their bloated squad which is also now minus Tshepo Malope and Tshepo Moeketsi.

Following the amalgamation of the squad which came from Celtic and the players already at Royal AM through their GladAfrica Championship campaign the KwaZulu-Natal based club has had a rather bigger squad than usual.

Several other players will also be negotiating their way out from the club in this January transfer window which offers an escape route.
